I know it’s not Thanksgiving. I don’t need one day of the year to be grateful for all the things I have. We all love lists so here is my list of Things I’m Grateful For:
No need say much here.
At this point, I’m more focus on people. I’m interested in interacting with interesting people. Yes, I’m interested. I’m fascinated with humans interaction.
You have no idea how much I’m grateful for good health. I’m about to be 30. I’m lucky to be in such good health throughout my life. My heart goes out to those are suffering from any form of illness.
If I don’t have food/shelter, I won’t be doing what I doing right now. I don’t feel guilty for eating too much or sitting at home doing nothing.
5. Being American
You have no idea how valuable your U.S.A. passport is until you live in another country, my third. I can go on about how great being an American is. I must stop here.
6. Capitalism and 7. Entrepreneurship
Nowhere in the world is like the U.S.A.–you can come from nothing and to become something. I don’t care what people’s opinion about capitalism. I grew up in Vietnam and have seen how things really are from my Dad. I know capitalism isn’t perfect, nothing is. Perfect is boring. I love capitalism.
The older I get, the more intelligent people I come across. Also, people think they know it all from reading some textbooks. There is just no substitute for experience and wisdom.
Technology kills traditions. However, it makes my life so much simple (yet complicated) and easy than ever before. This blessing and a curse has transformed my way of life, and I am in.
I don’t know what I would do without the Internet. I have learned more from the Internet than textbooks. Like our Founding Fathers, I’m a firm believer of self-education.
What are you grateful for?
