Changing WordPress Site URL Address in Settings

Change URL

I was working between localhost/live sites. I wasn’t thinking so I thought the localhost site was the live site so for some reason I accidentally change the site URL address in settings. The result: the localhost site crash and I can’t log into WordPress.

Edit wp-config.php

Add this to your wp-config.php that came with your WordPress installation at the bottom:

define('WP_HOME','http://example.com');
define('WP_SITEURL','http://example.com');

Make sure to change the two “http://example.com”. To be clear, this is one of many ways to change your URL address in Settings. It’s not a fix, just a batch. Hope this save some headaches.
